This work is the combination of two worlds:
that of the graphic designer
Patrick Carvalho Dumont and that of the photographer
Vincen Beeckman.
/
Together they have created Runy. The result of this unlimited interaction is a hybrid
form of imagery that acts upon it’s primary meaning and offers other levels of
exploration for the visitor.
/
The photo calls upon the drawing, or the drawing moves around the open space
provided by the photo.
/
The photos do not tell stories or narrate an event.
They are simply shots taken
from
Vincen Beeckman’s everyday life.
/
Patrick Carvalho Dumont finds paths of inspiration and uses them to enhance
a
detail or idea... and reach an unexpected result.

The original prints are in various sizes with the drawings made in tippex
or paint-pen.
